July 2010
I sincerely hope each of you has survived this heat we've been having and are enjoying a delightful summer.
We are really excited about our upcoming Bible Study and Leadership Training at Camp Fellowship. Each church has been mailed a registration form. Each PW Moderator has been e-mailed a letter and registration form again today (July 1). The agenda for this meeting is as follows:

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Bible Study (Led by Rev. Kevin Cartee)
10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. BREAK
11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Leadership Training (Led by Ann Barnwell)
12:30 p.m. LUNCH
The registration fee is $12 and includes lunch. Walk-in fee is $15.00. Childcare will not be provided. Registration forms are available from your Cluster Leader or on this web site. Please make copies as necessary. We're really looking forward to each of you joining us.
Bible study training on Revelation will be offered at Columbia Theological Seminary, August 16-18, 2010. For additional information, go to www.ctsnet.edu.
The South Carolina Gathering will be held September 16-17, 2011. The South Carolina Gathering Committee met on June 12 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Columbia and have started the planning process. The Charleston-Atlantic Presbytery is the host for this event. Upcoming plans will be posted on this site.
Remember to keep our PW members that are attending the General Assembly in your thoughts and prayers. Alice Wyatt and Penny Rehme, I know, are in attendance. If you know of others, please let me know.
Also, attention Knitters - we need as many knitted crosses as we can get. The directions are on the Synod web site (www.pwsosa.com) under the Epworth heading. Please either bring or send them to Epworth and we will see they get sent to our troops. The suggestion was made that we use a yarn that is close to sand color. We certainly don't want to make our troops targets by using bright colors.
If I can be of assistance in any way, please let me know. May God continue to bless us as we strive to carry on the work of Presbyterian Women and further His word.
In His Service -
Patsy Feagin, Moderator
